Went to go do some work today...nothings going my way. No gas, so I couldn't warm it up to adjust the valves, was going to cut a new driveshaft, but rounded off the bolts that are in the rear yoke. Great. Noticed my new (to me) t-case yoke has stripped out holes, so that means no shaft, too. Or THE shaft, whatever. What else..... Oh yeah, it's coming to me...



bout broke my damn leg falling through my trailer deck.



Doesn't look as bad in this pic as it does in person, but under the front tires, if this one wasn't parked all the way over to the rail, it'd probably be falling through. Won't be much more time until I go back out there and see the Joop on the ground...IN the trailer.

That blows! At least you didn't do like I did last week and hit yourself in the mouth with a hammer Don't ask how I managed to do that because I'm still not sure.

Haha! Reminds me of the time I busted myself in the mouth with a tire iron changing a flat trailer tire...split my bottom lip in 3 places. How did I do that? Still not really sure. Just glad I didn't bust any government-issued teeth.

Went yesterday (i think it was...or was it Saturday? Whatever.) to work on the Joop...pretty productive for the couple hours that I had. I yanked out all the old craptastic 3/8" steel fuel lines and put in some nice, high-speed, low-drag, whizzy-go-fast braided stainless -8 AN fuel lines and a 10 micron inline filter. Also moved the fuel pump, but that's just extra. Sure makes it seem to want to idle better in gear, I didn't think that fuel volume would be affected that much at low speed...but, fuel pressure seemed more steady, that may have some to do with moving the fuel pump to the frame rather than a flimsy crossmember.

No pics....no proof. Blah. At least this time. Maybe next time.
